I am the sole Owner and Operator of my lawn care business, Craycan Lawn.
People sometimes ask me what made me want to start my own lawn care company. For me, it all began with an opportunity.
After working in another industry for years, I found myself taking on lawn repair work—fixing up properties that had been damaged by heavy machinery. A lot of that damage wasn’t really anyone’s fault, but it still needed to be made right.
That’s where I found my footing. I realized how much I enjoyed the process—not just the physical work, but the satisfaction of seeing a lawn go from rough to well-kept, and knowing I had a hand in that transformation.
Over time, I started noticing how often lawn care was treated like an afterthought. Quick jobs, uneven cuts, and a lack of attention to detail—things that may not seem like a big deal, but together they take away from what a property could be. It wasn’t about criticizing other people’s work—it just made me more aware of how much potential was being left on the table. And I knew I could do better.
Starting CrayCan Lawn gave me the chance to put that pride and precision into every job. I’m not in this to be the biggest company out there—I just want to be the one people trust to do things right. I take my time, I care about the details, and I treat every property with the same respect I’d give my own.
